Does the RUC Library have textbooks?

Answer

The RUC Library offers access to some print textbooks, which can be checked out and used inside the library for a period of two hours. Ask at the RUC Library’s front desk for more information.

The RUC Library also has access to some textbooks online. Please be aware that sometimes usage of ebooks can be limited to one person at a time, so if you are unable to download an ebook, please check back at another time when the digital copy is not in use.

The best way to find out which textbooks the RUC Library has would be to search the library’s catalog. The catalog is a listing of the books, ebooks, and other items the library has for patrons to use. You can search the catalog in many different ways, including searching by title, author, or subject and the catalog entry will give you information about which library has the item, whether is it a physical item (such as a print book) or digital (such as an ebook), and whether or not the item is currently available.

You can also request access to books, articles, and other media the Radford University Libraries do not own free of charge via interlibrary loan. For more information about the interlibrary loan process, please see our instructions on Getting a Book or Article The Libraries Do Not Own.
