All retired Radford University employees are considered to be public patrons, retaining the ability to check out most physical items from the collection and the use of our online resources while visiting one of the University Libraries in person. These privileges are easily renewed each year by visiting the McConnell Front Desk or RUC Library Circulation Desk or by emailing frontdesk@radford.edu.  

Retired faculty with emeritus status are also eligible to receive offsite access to the Libraries' online resources. Emeritus status is reported to the Libraries by the Office of the Provost.  The Libraries then work with Information Technology Services to assign appropriate online access.
