What are the two resources that I can use to access JoVE Basic Biology directly

During spring 2020, JoVE provided extended access to their video collections to libraries across the country, and for that period the Radford University community was able to access videos that we don't normally have access to.

There are two different library resources that you can use to check to see what videos Radford University has access to. You can go directly to JoVE Basic Biology or you can use the library catalog. If you want to access the "Coronavirus Free Access Resource Center" go to JoVE Basic Biology directly.

How do I access JoVE Basic Biology directly?

You can access JoVE (You must authenticate as a Radford University user in order to use this database) from one of the two methods below:

Choose a collection to see what videos are available in it using either the "Research" or "Education" menu at the top of the page. if you wish to access JoVE's "Coronavirus Free Access Resource Center" select COVID-19 in the tool bar.

Tool bar at top of JOVE screen, Research and Education menus highlighted

Select a collection to view.

Library Catalog

Start at the McConnell Library homepage, locate the search box (located under the image), select the "Catalog" tab, then start searching. You can enter "JoVE" or search for a specific title.
