RadfordU students, faculty, and staff may access UpToDate through https://libguides.radford.edu/UpToDate. It is not necessary to create an account unless you want to use the mobile app or bookmark articles.

To set up mobile app:

Step 1: On the UpToDate database, register for an account with your @radford.edu email and password of your choice.

Step 2: Download the UpToDate app through Google Play or Apple App Store.

Step 3: Try logging in to the app with your registered account from UpToDate. If at first it doesn’t allow you to log in, we suggest waiting a few hours/up to 24 hours between registering for the account and downloading the app. If you are not able to log in after that, please contact Research Help at refdesk@radford.edu so that we know you are having issues.

To reverify your account for mobile app access:

In order to maintain uninterrupted service for the UpToDate mobile app, you must verify your RadfordU student, faculty, or staff status every 2 months

Step 1: Log into UpToDate from our network: https://libguides.radford.edu/UpToDate with your RadfordU username and password.

Step 2: Click on the login in the top right corner to complete verification with your UpToDate login you set up when registering for your account.

An in-application and e-mail message will remind you to reverify. If you don’t, your mobile access will be suspended until you do. You can also check your expiration date in the app, by clicking on the Settings > Account> Access Through _________.
