Open Educational Resources (OER) are a type of course material that is free for students to access, and are an affordable course material initiative at Radford University. Students, check the course schedule, bookstore system, and/or your professor's syllabus, for indications they have chosen this no-cost option for your course.
Faculty, please use our OER LibGuide to find, adapt, or create your own OER content. The guide also provides recommendations on making your choice to use OER more visible to students and colleagues. OER textbooks and ancillary materials such as slidedecks, lesson plans, and test banks, give you flexibility and academic freedom in your course while supporting student success and retention.
