Using Printers to Scan

Any documents/books scanned on McConnell Library printers can ONLY be sent to Radford University email addresses. They can not be sent to non-RU email addresses.

On the front panel of the printer:

  1. Select the "Scanner" icon.
  2. Place the papers you wish to scan in the feeder tray on the top of the printer or open the top to use the glass. 
  3. Select the "Specify destination(s)" icon.
  4. Type the desired Radford University email.
  5. Use the menu to select scan settings (e.g. 1 or 2 sided originals, file type)
  6. Select the green "Start" icon.
  7. Select the "Finish Scan" icon.

Recommendation: If you sent it to your own email open the scanned document to double-check that it went through correctly.
