Open the lids of the black rectangle in the middle of the table and retrieve the HDMI cord.
Plug the HDMI cord into your laptop. If you need an adapter, you can check one out at the front desk at the entrance of the library.
Once plugged in, the screen should turn on and display your laptop screen.
Troubleshooting
Media:scapes can be connected to through a device's HDMI or VGA port. HDMI adaptors can be checked out from the front desk, including those for connecting Macs and Android/iPhones.
If the station won't turn on after you plug in your device, make sure the monitor is on. Near the center of the screen, on the bottom edge, there are some labels for different buttons. You will need to reach behind the bottom of the screen to press the buttons.
If your laptop screen still is not appearing, please toggle your display using your function (fn) key on your keyboard.
To reset the media:scape, press the white button located inside the media well (black rectangle in the middle of the table)
