The Accessible Technology Room is on level 3 and contains equipment and tools to help patrons with disabilities use library materials. The following equipment is available in the room:

  • Large screen PC computer on a motorized, adjustable table
  • Runs the software JAWS and Freedom Scientific.
  • Noise canceling headphones
  • Full Spectrum lighting
  • Sound Machine
  •  

The room does not have to be reserved in advance, but bookings are accepted. Please contact the library's Front Desk at (540) 831-5364 or frontdesk@radford.edu. Students who are registered with the Center for Accessibility Services have priority use of this room.
