The Accessible Technology Room is on level 3 and contains equipment and tools to help patrons with disabilities use library materials.

The following equipment is available in the room:

  • Large screen PC computer on a motorized, adjustable table

  • Runs the software JAWS and Freedom Scientific.

  • Noise canceling headphones

  • Full Spectrum lighting

  • Sound Machine

Note: Students who are registered with the Center for Accessibility Services have priority use of this room.

The Accessible Technology Room does not have to be reserved in advance, but bookings are accepted. To make a reservation, please contact the library's Front Desk at (540) 831-5364 or frontdesk@radford.edu.
