Any Radford University student, faculty, or staff member may access SuperSearch, the library catalog, and most of the Library's databases from any Internet-connected computer.

To view online resources off-campus (eBooks, articles, streaming videos, etc.) through SuperSearch and other library databases, you'll be prompted to log in using your RU username and password (your email/portal login). Radford University members may also choose instead to use the VPN. Instructions can be found on the DoIT's ONESTOP.

Libkey Nomad – What it is and what it does.

You can also install LibKey Nomad, a browser extension provided through our membership in the VIVA academic library consortium, into browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, that helps connect you to journal articles through our subscriptions or open access resources. Install the plugin and choose Radford University as your library. This 2-minute video will help you install.

Members of the public who are not current students, staff, or faculty cannot access our databases from off campus.
