The default print setting for most software on public PCs on Radford University's campus is single-sided. To check or change the settings:

Microsoft Office: the default is single-sided. To change:

1. Go to File > Print. 
2. Under the "Print One Sided" drop-down menu , change to "Print on Both Sides" for regular double-sided. 
    1. For brochures, select "Print on Both Sides, Flip pages on Short Edge. 
3. Select Print. 

Google Chrome: The default is double-sided. To change: 

1. Hold down Ctrl and P keys or right click and select print. 
2. Under "More Settings" uncheck "Print on both sides."  

Firefox: The default is single-sided. To change:

1. Hold down Ctrl and P keys or right click and select print. 
2. Scroll to "Two-Sided Printing"
3. To print double-sided, select "Flip on long edge." To print brochures, select "Flip on short edge." 

Microsoft Edge: The default is single-sided. To change:

1. Hold down Ctrl and P keys or right click and select print. 
2. Scroll to "Print on both sided"
3. To print double-sided, select "Print on both sides: Flip on long edge." To print brochures, select "Print on both sides: Flip on short edge." 

You may check want to check the cost in the print box before printing: 

After selecting print within the software, a print cost pop-up will appear on your screen. Accept the charges by selecting "print."

Black and White double-sided is .04 a side
Black and White single-sided is .05 a page 

Color printing has the same costs: single sided is .10 a page, double-sided is .10 a side
