The librarians in the Research Services department are happy to schedule consultations in-person, or via phone, chat, or Zoom with any faculty and/or their assistants to discuss the library's resources that may help support faculty research projects. Unfortunately, our Research Help cannot offer in-depth research services.

Examples of what our librarians offer include:

  • collaborating on search strategies for discipline-specific databases
  • recommending tools for organizing and sharing sources
  • demonstrating resources to explore journal publishing opportunities

Examples of what our librarians CANNOT offer include:

  • conducting literature or systematic reviews
  • collecting datasets
  • managing citations
  • assisting with IRB
  • editing, proofreading and/or indexing manuscripts

Our Research Help department can also answer quick or urgent questions via Ask a Librarian IM chat, phone, email, and in-person drop in whenever the Research Help Desk is open. If you have questions, please contact your librarian faculty partners for clarification.
