You may want to start with our two databases that focus on controversial issues:

  • Opposing Viewpoints - It contains full text articles on controversial topics. The majority of the content is not scholarly.
  • CQ Researcher - Includes reports with coverage of current and controversial issues. This is an excellent source to begin research on a particular topic and to quickly gain an understanding of the ramifications of a particular issue. All full-text. (Coverage of topics from 1923 to Present).

SuperSearch is another good source for such articles. While it's not limited to controversial topics, it provides access to thousands more articles than the other two databases and contains many more scholarly articles.

All three databases can be accessed through the A to Z database list.
