Per our collection policy, the library does not purchase textbooks, but there are exceptions. Your professors may be using library resources as their course materials. Professors may also put their personal copy of a textbook on Course Reserve at the library's Front Desk for students in their class to use in the library.

To check if your professor has put a copy of your textbook on Reserve:

  1. Visit the library's homepage and select the icon labelled Course Reserves.
  2. Search by either your course or professor's last name.

Check SuperSearch for course materials:

  1. In the SuperSearch search box on the library's home page, type the title of the book and the authors' names. If we have a copy of the book, it should show up in the results list.

Have questions? Contact the Research Help Desk or stop by the Front Desk on Level 3 (main floor).
