No, the library doesn't purchase textbooks. Occasionally, professors will put their own personal copies of a textbook on Reserve for students in their class to use in the library. To check to see if your professor has put your textbook on Reserve:

1. Visit the library's homepage: McConnell Library - Radford University.

2. In the main search box, click the tab for Catalog.

3. Type the title of the textbook and/or the authors' names into the catalog search box. If we have a copy of the book, it should show up in the results list.

4. Have questions? Ask us at the Research Help Desk or Front Desk on Level 3.
